NYBKW RECOGNIZED BY AICPA

Melville, NY June 24 2010 – Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein & Wolpow, LLP (NYBKW) received national recognition from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants that it is officially a member of the prestigious G400 group, and has been identified as one of the 500 largest firms in the United States, out of 44,000 in the nation. As part of the G400, NYBKW will be working closely with the AICPA to provide important input and support to the accounting industry and to the firm’s clients.

RICHARD NUSSBAUM RETIRES AS SENIOR ASSURANCE PARTNER

Melville, NY January 27, 2009 – Nearly 20 years after forming Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein and Wolpow, LLP (originally Nussbaum Yates and Wolpow, PC) Mr. Richard Nussbaum has retired.

Mr. Nussbaum served as the firm’s first managing partner from 1990 until 2005. His most recent position was Senior Assurance Partner.

Mr. Nussbaum received a B.B.A. degree from the City College of New York in 1962 and received his CPA designation in 1966. Through 1990, he was a senior partner at Laventhol & Horwath, Certified Public Accountants, where he was the partner in charge of the family owned and entrepreneurial business practice for the Long Island office.

PLAINVIEW RESIDENT NAMED PARTNER AT MELVILLE BASED ACCOUNTING FIRM

Melville, NY January 13, 2009 – Craig Rubin, CPA, a resident of Plainview, NY, was promoted to partner on January 1 at Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein & Wolpow, LLP (NYBKW). Mr. Rubin specializes in providing tax advisory and compliance services to middle market business clients and their owners. Mr. Rubin also has significant experience in providing tax advice pertaining to complex mergers and acquisitions.

GOOD DAY NY INVITES ALAN YATES BACK FOR SECOND INTERVIEW

Melville, NY December 17, 2007 – Good Day New York recently invited Alan Yates, CPA back to the show as a tax tips expert for the greater metropolitan area. During his interview he discussed last minute charitable donations, planning ahead and selling loser stocks in order to deduct the maximum come tax season.

Ms. Reddington graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPA’s. Ms. Reddington is also actively involved in several community youth organizations and has served on the Harding Avenue PTA for more than 11 years.
