Alan Yates is a founding partner of the Firm and heads up our tax practice. Prior to founding NYW, he was a partner in the Manhattan office of a national accounting firm, specializing in the total tax coordination for a wide range of companies and individuals.

With more than 30 years experience, he is a frequent speaker on various tax matters and has published articles in The Tax Advisor and Taxes, the Tax Magazine and has been quoted in numerous publications and recognized nationally for his accomplishments in the tax industry.  Alan recently appeared on Good Day NY discussing taxes.   

His professional credits include the Chairmanship of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Committee on "S" Corporations. Alan has held leadership positions in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations.
