For
more than 20 years, Donald R. Rose has provided
financial and management consulting to middle market companies,
including that of a Chief Financial Officer, on less than a full time basis.
His services have included: strategic and operations planning, loan
restructuring, preparation of business plans, acquisition and divestiture
consulting and financial reporting for clients in a wide variety of industries.
Donald has been involved in turnaround and crisis
management, including creditor negotiations, working with troubled companies
(both in and out of bankruptcy proceedings), institutional lenders and creditor
groups. He has also provided fact
and/or expert testimony in federal and state court on matters of insolvency and
other financial matters and has been involved in a number of investigative
matters requiring forensic accounting procedures. While at a
national accounting firm, in addition to
his public and private audit clients, Donald was active in the litigation
support and reorganization services of that firm and was involved in numerous
formal and informal reorganizations including representation of the creditors'
committees of Continental Airlines, United Department Stores and National Shoes. Donald is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and has previously been a member of numerous AICPA and NYSSCPA committees including the AICPA investment companies special committee. He has written articles for accounting publications and has spoken frequently on matters of accounting and financial reporting. |
