Steven Wolpow, CPA, managing
partner, was one of the founding partners of Nussbaum Yates Berg Klein & Wolpow, LLP, P.C.
During Steve’s progressive tenure with the Firm he has helped build it into
one of the New York metropolitan area’s leading accounting firms,
expanding from a one office firm of 6 employees to a firm with more than 50
employees and offices in Melville, New York and in mid-town Manhattan.
Steve has been instrumental in the firm’s growth, and his primary focus is
ensuring the delivery of an exceptional level of service to all of the firm’s
clients. In addition to his responsibilities as the Firm’s managing partner,
Steve is the lead partner on many of the Firm’s engagements. He gets enormous
enjoyment out of helping clients develop and implement solid, visionary business
strategies for growth and profitability. Steve has vast experience in a
broad array of industries, including distributors, service organizations,
retailers, high tech companies, manufacturers and real estate.
Steve is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public
Accountants. He is a past president of the Suffolk Y Jewish
Community Center and he serves on its Board of Directors and has served as
Chairman of the Suffolk County Chapter of the New York State Society of
CPA’s committee on Cooperation with Bankers and other Credit Grantors.
Steve received a B.S. degree from the Herbert H. Lehman College of the City
University of New York in 1976 where he graduated Cum Laude.
